Enchanted Forest is an environment of wonder and beauty. Black tree branches reveal their form, architecture, and grace against an indigo sky. Journeying through the forest, one is surrounded by a lacey canopy while passing in and among the silken tree branches. The forest environment becomes a world of enchantment in the twilight of winter.
The site-specific installation consists of over 250 feet of semi-translucent silk digitally printed with tree imagery. Silk panels are placed in a series that exists 3-dimensionally in space, overhead and around the individual walking through. Also included in the exhibition are a series of photographic prints, which complement the forest imagery in the installation. Photographs are available from the artist directly at two sizes: 24 x 48 inches & 12 x 24 inches.
